OLDEST RAG PHOTO TO DATE! Turbine Dept Float 1952

AS I SAY " Its amazing what's out there! -
Above circa 1964

Another photo. Due to the success of my earlier Colchester Student photo shoot in 1961, I was sought out again for further photography by the publicity department in 1964. The equipment I chose to be photographed on that time was  a Ward 7B Combination Turret Lathe. The venue was building 78. The real reason for the photo was a labour recruitment ad in the local papers. The operation I was carrying out was the machining off of surplus glass fibre from the steel bolts. It did tend to make one itch! Health & Safety did it exist then?
Kind Regards   John Hyde

Above is a tech ticket, do you remember them? The day after college.......PUT YOUR TICKET IN or you don't get paid! Sorry its\a bit tatty but it does date from the mid sixties. Regards   John Hyde
